Q: How do I earn Bonwi Points?
A: Bonwi Points are earned on every hotel and car rental booking made on the Bonwi site. The number of Bonwi Points you’ll earn varies by the hotel and car rental selected and is displayed on the Bonwi site with earn search.
Q: When will I receive my Bonwi Points after I make a car rental or hotel reservation?
A: Points earned will show as pending until after travel is completed. Please note that the points are released to available status 7 to 21 days after travel is completed, this varies by location.
Q: Why don’t I have to pay fees or taxes when redeeming for free airline tickets like I do with the airline programs?
A: Because Bonwi Points is not only Faster it’s also FREE and EASY. We never charge fees to redeem! Wanna Bonwi?!
Q: How are Bonwi Points different from airline and hotel rewards programs?
A: Unlike many airline and hotels rewards programs, the amount of points you’ll earn is not based solely on how much you spend or how many nights you stay in a hotel. This allows Bonwi users to accumulate points faster by selecting options based on both the best available price and number of Bonwi Points offered.
Q: What can I use Bonwi Points to get?
A: Your Bonwi points can be used in our "Redeem Points" section to get free hotel stays, free airline tickets, VISA Cash cards or other gift cards. They have a cash value of 1 penny each, so 10,000 points have a cash value of $100 towards any of our selections.
Q: How much are Bonwi Points worth?
A: Bonwi Points are worth 1 penny (1 US Cent) per mile. Each redemption option in the Rewards section converts the price into points at the 1 penny per mile rate.
Q: How many Bonwi Points do I need for a free airline ticket or hotel stay?
A: The number of Bonwi Points needed for a free airline ticket, hotel stay or gift card is based on the cost/value of the item. We simply take the retail price of what you want to redeem and convert to Bonwi Points at 1 penny of value for each mile. For example; a $200 airline ticket you’ll need 20,000 Bonwi Points; A $300 airline ticket would require 30,000 Boni Points. A $100 gift card would be 10,000 Bonwi Points; a $189 hotel stay would require 18,900 Bonwi Points
Q: Is redeeming free airline tickets using Bonwi Points based on availability of seats that are set aside by the airlines for rewards bookings?
A: NO! When using Bonwi Points for airline tickets you can book any seat at any price using the one cent per mile equation. There are also no blackout dates when using Bonwi Points. Earn enough Bonwi Points and take any flight any time!
Q: Are Bonwi Points transferable?
A: No, not at this time, Bonwi Points must be accumulated in and redeemed from a single user account
Q: If I am redeeming Bonwi Points for an airline ticket or hotel but don’t have enough Bonwi Points, can I pay the difference with my credit card?
A: YES! We allow you to pay difference at one cent per mile needed with a major credit card, see the payment section of your booking for a list of cards we accept. However, at least 50% of the item you are redeeming must be done with Bonwi Points.
Q: In addition to Bonwi Points, do I also earn rewards if I am part of one of your travel providers reward programs?
A: Great question! For airline tickets you earn points into their programs if offered and you are registered under the terms of their program [you will have an opportunity to enter any reward program information at the time of your booking. For hotels, this varies by individual location, so we cannot assure that you will. Each hotel booking and each location has different policies, so some will and some won’t.
Q: Is my credit card information safe?
A: Yes. Any bookings are made on our secure site and we do not save your credit card information. If any credit card information is saved it is sent to our merchant who will store the information on their secure server.
Q: What system requirements do I need to run this site?
A: unlike other sites that shop rates on other travel sites we do not need to load any applications or software, all you need is internet access to login and see how fast and easy it is to fly free when you Bonwi!
Q: I would like to cancel or change my booking. What is the easiest way for me to make changes?
A: To change or cancel one of your existing reservations, click on the View Reservations link located on the left hand side of the My Account section. From there, you will be able to see all of your current and past reservations. If the reservation has not yet occurred, you will have the opportunity to click Cancel next to the reservation, or click on View in order to update any information. If you would like to contact our Concierge department with a specific question about your reservation, please click on Messages next to the appropriate reservation. Please note that if a reservation has already occurred, you will not see the Cancel link.
Q: I can’t remember my user name or password. How can I find them?
A: If you cannot remember your password at the time of login, please select the Forgot Password option at the bottom of the login popup and enter your email when prompted. An email will be sent with your login information.
Q: If I find a better price, how do I take advantage of the Bonwi price guarantee?
A: Hotel and Car rental reservations be backed by our 110% guarantee! Simply click on the link at the top of the page to submit your claim!
Q: Is there a mobile version of the website?
A: Not at this time but the Bonwi website can still be accessed by any device at www.bonwi.com
Q: How long are my Bonwi Points valid for?
A: Your Bonwi Points are valid for 2 years following the date of your most recent reservation.
